The games's chat is not using an IFRAME, the IFRAME is used on the web chat, a web application, from the website.



The game's chat using iA chat, which is a native win32 application that uses sockets to make connections internet to the IRC server and iA server.



Again if you read the comments in the hosts file, it clearly states that they are listed for blocking ads.

The reason the host file contains this information is to BLOCK ads, this was done due to mostly BRs and GRs having issues with Chrome plugins with ads that effected the game.  It was easier to include all of them into one hosts file rather than having Pahoss fix everyone's PC on team viewer.

Why would not use simple ad block client then but Using Host File?
